La modelo talla grande que revoluciona la web al publicar fotos sin retocar

Iskra Lawrence de 25 años le hizo la cruz a Photoshop y se muestra tal cual en sus fotografías que sube a Instagram.

Las redes sociales como Instagram están todo el tiempo bombardeando con imágenes de mujeres prácticamente perfectas, de cuerpos esculturales, piel suave y bronceada, casi como si se tratara de diosas terrenales.

Pero lo cierto es que la realidad está muy alejada de eso y ya tiene a varios cansados. Una de los que no comulaga con el Photoshop es Iskra Lawrence, modelo talla grande y gerente editorial del sitio de moda y belleza Runway Riot, quien se ha hecho conocida en la web por publicar fotografías suyas sin ningún tipo de retoque

Iskra, de 25 años, usa talla 42 y ha dicho sentirse feliz con su cuerpo a pesar de que en muchas ocasiones las agencias de modelos convencionales le han dicho que era “demasiado grande” y las agencias de tallas XL le hayan dicho que “no era lo suficientemente grande”

This #selfie has absolutely ?no filter & ?no retouching..not only because I feel more beautiful as my natural self but I want to keep it real. As easy as it would be to airbrush my skin etc there’s more to life than trying to achieve “perfection” that doesn’t exist. Beauty is your confidence, embracing who you are not what you look like and remembering you have a unique gift to give to the world. Idga.. If you think this is cheesy I genuinely live by this everyday and I’ve never been so happy and I hope that by sharing my experiences & “real” photos can help others see that you hold your own self worth, not the scales, your label or the unrealistic perception of beauty.
