Todo partió luego de publicar una de las imágenes en su cuenta de Instagram.

Summer VonHesse es madre de dos niños y como le sucede a algunas mujeres, su cuerpo cambió por completo luego de los embarazos. Subió mucho de peso y se llenó de estrías, lo que hizo que su autoestima se viera perjudicada.

A pesar de esto y como una manera de aceptarse, decidió publicar una imagen en Instagram en la que sale posando en bikini. Nunca se imaginó que este sería el comienzo de una nueva etapa en su vida.

I’ve found through social media that there are actually alot of people that find that very thing attractive. How strange. It’s helped me look at it in a different light and love it. I’ve watched other womens accounts and been like omg! I’m comparable….and she’s hott! Or seen the reaction men had to her. Let’s face it we are always comparing and judging. Not to be mean necessarily, it’s human nature. I love that for me there is this fucking amazing community of curvy girls out there sharing things online. That was really what pushed me over the edge on my zero fucks given attitude about my body. Hearing people say nice things to me never sat well, I always thought they had a motive. I’ve gotten tons of messages and comments asking where I got this set from. Walmart! Lol…I will not spend a lot of $ on clothes. I grew up dirt poor, some of that will never leave me. Remember it’s not what ur wearing but how ur wear it! We really place WAY too much value on labels in our society. To the point where they define some people’s worth. It’s idiotic. I will never forget how awful I felt in middle school because I couldn’t afford the same “labels” the other kids had. I wish I had understood then that it really ment nothing. That in life, those that are worth having around will judge your character the same in Gucci or thrift clothes. And on the same token your character should be the same in both.
